NIXY Typhoon+ SUP Hand Pump: 29 PSI at Just 2.34 lbs
The NIXY Typhoon+ is a double action SUP hand pump that reaches 29 PSI (2 bar). It also weighs just 2.34 lbs (1.06 kg). So it takes any NIXY paddle board to riding pressure with strokes to spare. Yet it still packs into your board backpack.
How Fast Does This SUP Hand Pump Inflate a Board?
In double action mode, the Typhoon+ moves air on both the up and down stroke. That adds up to 4,000 cc per cycle, so it bulk-fills your board quickly. When resistance builds, flip the valve to single action. Then finish to full pressure without fighting the pump.
What Makes the Typhoon+ Different?
We build this SUP hand pump as one piece with the inner tube and handle integrated. As a result, there are no joints to loosen and leak air over time. The pressure gauge also sits on the cap instead of the handle, so you can read it mid-stroke. Meanwhile, the hose port beside it keeps the hose from kinking.
Compared with our G4 Typhoon, the Typhoon+ weighs nearly half as much (2.34 lbs vs. 4.37 lbs). It also reaches higher pressure (29 PSI vs. 22 PSI).

Does the Typhoon+ Work With Kayaks and Other Inflatables?
Yes, the hose is equipped with an H3 Halkey-Roberts attachment which is standard for inflatables. Please confirm that your inflatable has an H3 Halkey Roberts valve. In addition, it deflates them, so it pulls your board flat for a tighter roll.
How Does This SUP Hand Pump Pack Down?
When you finish, the base feet rests fold up and the handles screw off. Then the whole pump tucks into your board backpack next to your paddle and fins. However, if you'd rather skip pumping, the Ventus electric pump does the work for you.
In short, you carry less weight and spend less effort per stroke. Therefore, this SUP hand pump gets you on the water faster.
